Frozen Semen Storage:

CQH stores semen in special cryogenic liquid containers maintained at -196C. Semen intended for export is stored in separate tanks from that intended for domestic distribution.

Each tank is physically inspected once a week to ensure the proper level of liquid nitrogen. A detailed log is maintained on each tank.

Storage is billed yearly.

• $ 200.00 per Year/ $16.00 per Month

Frozen Semen Distribution:

The standard fee to ship frozen semen domestically (and Canada) is $255.00. This includes FedEx 2 day to the dog owner or veterinarian, tank rental, administration fee and FedEx 2 day of the tank back to CQH. An $950 refundable deposit for the shipping tank is assessed for each shipment. All shipments are insured for $950, the cost of the container.
